Alacarte Builders - Our Bio's

A graduate of the University of Florida, Alan has over ten years of residential construction experience
in Central Florida. His passion for residential construction began after leaving retail management in
the late 1990's. With the downturn in the housing market recently, he was forced to leave the company
that contributed to his success as a builder. Eager to build homes again, Alan co-founded Alacarte
Builders to fill a niche in the housing market. "I want to build custom homes for entry level buyers,
there's no reason custom homes have to be just for the wealthy. There are plenty of 'cookie cutter'
homes out there for entry level buyers, I want to help them build something unique, something to call
their own and enjoy for many, many years." Alan is a state licensed building contractor (CBC1256990).

Carlos has been active in residential construction ever since moving to Central Florida from
Venezuela over seven years ago. His design and construction activities began years earlier in the late
1980's at the Universidad Central's Architecture School. Following in the footsteps of his
grandfather and mentor, Carlos co-founded Alacarte Builders to continue his passion for residential
construction. As a firm believer in the importance of design, Carlos perceives every single project as
unique ensuring form, function and order are present as key elements of design. "Every homeowner is
unique; every project has its particular requirements that can only be met when we assume the
A-La-Carte approach". Carlos is state licensed building contractor (CBC 1256450).
